Author Victoria Strauss has a new book coming out for the teen market.  The Write Agenda has taken her publisher, Marshall Cavendish, to task for choosing a poor role model for teenage audiences.

According to The Write Agenda, Victoria Strauss, a prolific blogger, has dropped “f” bombs in her postings.  With so many  parents battling their teens’ defiant speech these days, the Write Agenda has opined that Strauss is not a good role model for youngsters to emulate.

Victoria Strauss is a blogger for Writer Beware, a branch of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, who have stated that the purpose of their blog is to shine a dark light onto literary scams and pitfalls. However, when an attorney for Writer Beware was suspended from practicing law in Illinois for defrauding the John Steinbeck estate, Strauss and her co-blogger Ann Crispin declined to cover the story.
