Steven Gould who finally came out and expressed something that is important to him . . . . i.e., Authors, don’t use the# (hash mark) to promote your book(s) on Twitter. Please recall that Gould attacked Author Dan Moore of this serious infraction. Seriously???
There are more pressing issues for the SFWA. Mr. Gould, as a prospective President for the SFWA, why have you not challenged Victoria Strauss and Ann “A.C.” Crispin for utilizing SFWA resources (i.e. Writer Beware) to promote their books on the the site? We, The Write Agenda, rest our case. Steven Gould is the “status quo” candidate for the SFWA. It’s very hypocritical to complain about an “outsider”using #SFWA on Twitter and then say nothing about Victoria Strauss and Ann “A.C.” Crispin using Writer Beware (SFWA resources) to promote their own books? State and Federal agencies frown on this type of inurement. Step up Gould and don’t be a clone of John “No Balls” Scalzi! If anything is “annoying” it’s your (Gould) failure to to address these issues prior to the 2013 SFWA election.
Self-promotion . . . not bad for a non-profit organization.
