American Book Publishing “Investigation” Research Released: No Proof of Victoria Strauss’ Claims

The Write Agenda has not questioned the fact that Writer Beware has helped numerous individuals over time. They have without question. Somewhere along that positive history something has run afoul. The claim that “American Book Publishing has been the subject of at least one police investigation” is a primary example of how Writer Beware has forgotten its original mission and responsibility to provide true information.

Our demand, to force and compel Victoria Strauss, Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Writer Beware to produce substantiation of their claim that America Book Publishing “has been the subject of at least one police investigation” is hardly intimidation. So, authors, publishers and publishing industry professionals are just supposed to take Victoria Strauss, Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Writer Beware for their word? Without substantiation? Without verifiable proofs?

The real “intimidation” is the fact that Victoria Strauss, Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Writer Beware have posted this information, refuse to delete it and refuse to provide documentation that proves the claim. This is neither a grand jury investigation nor an investigative newspaper report. Both of these examples are not entitled to the protections of confidentiality and would be not be deemed privileged information; not to mention the fact that Victoria Strauss is not a professional investigative journalist and would not legally be permitted to claim these privileges to protect herself. The Write Agenda’s request has nothing to do with protecting police investigators. Police investigators could not remotely be claimed as “sources” as Janrae Frank would have you believe. Think about it, don’t individuals go “to” the investigators? Don’t “investigators” write police reports? Isn’t it not true that police reports are assigned incident numbers?

Contrary to Janrae Frank’s unfortunate “smoke screen,” the information contained within any “police investigation” is subject to discovery, available under the Freedom of Information Act, has an incident number and is not subject to any protections under the law (assuming that it actually exists). The fact here is that there never was a “police investigation” conducted against America Book Publishing. Victoria Strauss, Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Writer Beware know this and they cannot produce 1) an incident number; 2) what was American Book Publishing Investigated for; and 3) the name of the investigating police agency. This is true “intimation” and a it’s scam that has been perpetrated by Victoria Strauss, Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Writer Beware. Now, Janrae Frank has made the personal choice to attempt to deliberately cloud this further; that’s very unfortunate.

Janrae Frank, who is a well-respected American journalist, knows for a fact that “police investigations” are subject to discovery under the Freedom of Information; it is the most commonly used tool of any investigative reporter. Considering that Ms. Frank chose  to weigh in here, without any appreciation for the actual facts, it appears that she is more interested in participating in this viral controversy as a means to help her slumping book sales. Self-serving conduct? It appears to be. Her current Amazon Sales Rankings range from 315,555 to 3,405,977.  As an industry standard, an Amazon Sales Ranking of 100,000 equates to 1 copy every 5 days; 2,000,000 equates to 1 copy every 1000 days. (We’ll track this and see if her strategy works.)

Bottomline: A police “investigation” is not subject to non-disclosure privileges. The Write Agenda has contacted all of the agencies listed below. You will not find in any of their correspondence to us that “a good journalist learns early is to protect their sources” or that they were concerned that “if those names were made public, then the complainants would soon find themselves under siege from ABP.” The entire claim that “American Book Publishing has been the subject of at least one police investigation” is a lie and a fabrication perpetrated by Victoria Strauss, Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Writer Beware. The letters from these agencies may be viewed here.

If there was a “police investigation” wouldn’t The Write Agenda have received something from one of these agencies that stated the information is protected and not available under the Freedom of Information? Fact: The Write Agenda did not . . . most of the replies clearly state that there is no documentation of any “police investigation.”

Police agencies seek the truth and from our research, they have accomplished that. They have given The Write Agenda proof that American Book Publishing was never the “subject of at least one police investigation.”

Clearly Janrae Frank chose to utilize propaganda strategies (Ad hominem and Red herring) in her confutation. For example, instead of rebutting the original complaint (i.e., Author, Victoria Strauss’ Failure to Produce Documentation of Police Investigation Regarding American Book Publishing) she is attacking us instead rebutting the original argument. Also, she is presenting new issues (i.e., the Freedom of Information Act) in a compelling fashion, but it is irrelevant to the question whether Author, Victoria Strauss Failed to Produce Documentation of Police Investigation Regarding American Book Publishing. She somehow seems to think that this validates or implies that we are misleading people.  (Note: She has also posted on Twitter that: “The Write Agenda has gone after me.” We fail to see how this amiable debate has escalated to that level.)

There’s no need for Janrae Frank to “school” us any more on the Freedom of Information Act. We all understand its purpose regarding public records as they apply to legal actions. However, in this instance we are dealing with a “police investigation” not a legal action. The application of the Freedom of Information Act is irrelevant and further discussion about it is an act of obfuscation. Admittedly, it was a very noteworthy review but really serves no purpose regarding this issue.

Transparency is all that we have asked for. Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware are responsible for making the initial claim that “American Book Publishing  has been the subject of at least one police investigation.” Merely posting this on a blog is not proof that  “American Book Publishing  has been the subject of at least one police investigation.” Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware have not been transparent in this regard. As a result thereof, we have sought to make this claim transparent by contacting the agencies within the jurisdiction where the “police investigation” allegedly occurred. When documentation and research fails to uncover evidence of a “police investigation,” transparency is impossible. The ongoing acts of denying, deferring and dismissing, by Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware, can no longer continue; it impedes the quest for transparency.

As self-proclaimed publishing industry “watchdogs,” Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware are ethically responsible to produce this evidence. What is dreadfully transparent is that their failure to do so only serves to call into question their credibility. This could be easily accomplished by providing primary source material of a “police investigation.” This would include: 1) the name of the investigating police agency; 2) supplying an incident number; and 3) state exactly what America Book Publishing “investigated” for. The failure of Victoria Strauss to provide this information lends itself to a meaningless claim and doesn’t support the necessity of challenging other disputed claims; that’s another issue. If the three (3) questions above cannot be answered, this “investigation” has to be deemed a falsehood that was conceived with other motives. Transparency will only occur when this evidence is provided. The sooner this happens the matter can be resolved and we can all move on to other issues. If it cannot be supplied, Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware would be well advised to begin using some different PR strategies; denying, deferring, inciting followers and dismissing these accusations aren’t working:

1. Fess up.

2. Have some “humble pie” and display some remorse.

3. Strive for atonement and clean up this mess they made.

4. Rehabilitate themselves, restore faith and trust by utilizing objective (not bias) reporting standards.

The Write Agenda is striving to bring this matter to a close. If we have been incorrect in our pursuit for transparency, we’ll gladly take our own advice publicly (1-4 above). We all want transparency, if this cannot be achieved this matter will stay in the forefront and will continue to be a blemish on Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware.

10/10/2011 Update

Yes, we have claimed that your discussion of the FOIA was both Ad Hominem and a Red Herring. No, we have not invoked FOIA as proof of any claims here or on our website. What we have done is completed document searches and posted the results thereof. Our act of posting these letters from the agencies cast doubt on the veracity of the statement of Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware that “American Book Publishing was the subject of at least one police investigation.” Our only statement is that we cannot find any evidence of a “police investigation.” We are not going to rely solely on an unvetted blog posting as proof that a “police investigation” occurred. Regardless of what methods are deployed to secure information in this matter, if evidence does not exist “that casts in doubt the veracity” of the statements made by Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware.

Now you appear to be making a similar statement without documentary evidence to back it up. To wit: “ABP was investigated in 2003 by the Salt Lake City police department. The detective assigned to the case was Robbin Wilkins.” Your act of merely reciting a statement from a blog posting is also not definitive proof of an actual “police investigation.” In addition, since you have chosen to take on the chore of “investigating” this matter further, this suggests that you are now questioning whether evidence of a “police investigation” exists yourself. This is a positive step; we could only wish that others would be as inquisitive. What is most ironic is that this proves that you are not willing to solely rest on Victoria Strauss’ statements including: 1) she doesn’t have an “obligation to ‘prove’ anything;” 2) that she stands on her “reputation for honesty and meticulous research; 3) that she is willing to simply  “let people judge for themselves;” and 4) that you are not satisfied solely with her confidential “documentation [that] includes emails from individuals as well as [her] handwritten notes of the phone conversations [she] had with both investigators” as proof of a “police investigation.”

We are actually flattered that you have the courage to take the time to be objective. However, it’s distressing (and unfortunate) that you have to pursue information that should have been made available by Victoria Strauss and Writer Beware. We wish you well in your endeavors. We also pray that your efforts reveal the existence of a “police investigation” with a corresponding incident number. In the event that your efforts are inconclusive, we also hope that you have the resilience to publicly admit it.

10/14/2011 Update

After going into great detail regarding your skills as a journalist, we would think that you would have posted primary source material to “speak for itself.” Attaching a blog posting from a disgruntled author, while it may lead to primary source material, is not proof that a real investigation ever occurred. Therefore, the doctrine of res ipsa loquitur does not apply to this pitiable attachment.

Journalists, as yourself, are held to a higher standard in reporting and presenting evidence. We do hope that your independent research activity leads you to a trail of primary source material including, but not limited to, documented evidence of a “police investigation” with a corresponding incident number. In the event that an “investigation” is proven to have occurred, information that retracts and/or exonerates the publisher needs to be included. For example, if there was no prosecution, or if the matter was closed due to a deficiency of evidence towards proving the complaint, reporting ethics require a full disclosure of the disposition of the “investigation.”

Psalm 109: A Prayer for the Punishment of the Wicked

“Let [her] days be few .  . . . It cannot be wrong for an officer of justice to aim at this; to desire it; to pray for it. How strange it would be for a magistrate to pray “that a murderer or a traitor should be long lived!”

“And let another take [her] office – So every man [woman] acts, and practically prays, who seeks to remove a bad and corrupt man [woman] from office. As such an office must be filled by someone, all the efforts which he [she] puts forth to remove a wicked man [woman] tend to bring it about that ‘another should take his [her] office;’ and for this it is ‘right’ to labor and pray. The act does not of itself imply malignity or bad feeling, but is consistent with the purest benevolence, the kindest feelings, the strictest integrity, the sternest patriotism, and the highest form of piety.”

Proof That Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s Fact-Finding and Research Skills Are Questionable

“Just FYI…Debt increases by recent US Presidents: Reagan 186%, Bush I 54%, Clinton 41%, Bush II 72%, Obama 23% . . . Source: Congressional Budget Office”

Ann “A.C.” Crispin (Facebook, August 28, 2011)

While politics are far off our normal subject matter for discussion, we were immediately skeptical by this Ann “A.C.” Crispin Facebook posting. We cannot ignore this statement of fact and apparent use of primary source material by Ann “A.C.” Crispin.  If you didn’t know any better you would think that this is authoritative, it is from Ann “A.C.” Crispin . . . right?  However, when you look into this a little further things are not quite what they seem. Firstly, if you Google Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s entire quote (above) you will pull up the identical quote from many other sites. This quote has been posted, re-posted, tweeted and re-tweeted by many apparent like-kind liberal sources as authoritative. Secondly, the Google search does not take you to the primary source material (i.e. the Congressional Budget Office) nor does Ann “A.C.” Crispin post a link to the primary source material from the Congressional Budget Office. Credible? Thirdly, we’re willing to bet that Ann “A.C.” Crispin did not personally conduct this research and fact-finding herself; she’s merely posted a quote from one of these other unvetted sources (this should concern you . . . more below). Fourthly, regardless of where these percentages emanate from, one needs to look at “debt increases” in terms of dollars. Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s quote intentionally does not present a true statement of facts. FACT: Congress determines spending amounts not Presidents. Historically, Democrats have outspent Republicans 2 – 1 (click here). Also, keep in mind that Obama has only been in office since January 2009 and his term is not complete. During this period under Obama’s watch the national debt has increased to $4 trillion dollars. To wit: “Using nominal measures, CNN‘s Jack Cafferty and CBS‘s Mark Knoller have noted that the US national debt has increased more rapidly under President Obama than under any other U.S. president, and that it had increased by $4 trillion since the beginning of his term of office.”

This is not the first time that Ann “A.C.” Crispin has been less than genuine. A recent example of her lack of attention to facts was presented in our posting, Come on Ann “A.C.” Crispin . . . Get it Right . . . Will You Please? (Click Here). However, the most blatant example of posting an unsubstantiated claim remains: “American Book Publishing has been the subject of at least one police investigation.” The Write Agenda researched this claim extensively and proved that this is a fabricated story. Please see our posting: American Book Publishing “Investigation” Research Released: No Proof of Victoria Strauss’ Claims (Click here).

We are not trying to make a political statement here. However, Ann “A.C.” Crispin presented an opportunity, albeit a political one, to really to question what she claims as fact. We are grateful for this opportunity as it once again demonstrates the need to evaluate statements like this through the C.R.A.P. Test.

With all sources of information available to us today, it’s sometimes difficult to know which are based on facts, to discern whether false information was provided or whether the whole story was communicated. While some Web sites, and their commentators, began as providers of information based on facts and or unbiased opinions, many over time have been corrupted either in whole or in part to a point of view or ideology. On this page (click here) you will find a list of sources that have been shown to promote progressive ideologies, open ended commentary and unsupported statements. Some are presented as non-biased or based on facts; others do not. Through an examination of the information these organizations and individuals offer, including their sources of funding, parent organizations, leadership, agendas, goals and content of the information presented and based on comparison with the facts as determined by the primary source material as it becomes available, many warrant further review. The objective is to encourage you to evaluate these sources of information with a discerning eye, become a skeptic and utilize the C.R.A.P test to evaluate postings, articles and information. C.R.A.P. is an acronym for Currency, Reliability, Authority and Purpose and Point of View.

In our recent posting, Is Ann ‘A.C.’ Crispin Perpetuating and Assisting Disney with the Theft and Exploitation of another’s creative work? Pirates Of The Caribbean: Price Of Freedom . . . Infringement? we questioned whether Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s involvement in the book deal for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Price Of Freedom, may both be perpetuating and assisting Disney with the theft and exploitation of Royce Mathew’s creative works (Click here). Mr. Mathew recently took issue with Ann “A.C.” Crispin on the Author’s Goodreads page:

A. Crispin – what are you doing about this? – What the Walt Disney Company has done is that they have stolen my creative work/story & characters and used it for the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie – and the sequels – (for the 4th film, they then licensed the rights to the book On Stranger Tides and incorporated that.) Then with A. Crispin’s book – they gave her / hired her to take my characters and fictional inventions (such as the eccentric pirate and the pirate ship the Black Pearl) and to create a back story for them. Thus by her involvement for a book deal, A. Crispin is both perpetuating and assisting Disney with the theft and exploitation of my creative work. My website has documents and photo proof of my fight for accountability – and thus she should step forward and address the serious issue(s) at hand. See photo proof of the Walt Disney Company’s fraud, corruption and criminal acts in regards to the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise and my ongoing fight for accountability over the theft of my supernatural pirate story – www.disneylawsuit.com.” (Emphasis added.)

Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s reply:

“Dear Mr. Mathew: If the US courts sustain your claims, I will certainly comply with any directives they give me. I am a law-abiding individual. I wish to make clear, however, that you did not write The Price of Freedom, as The Write Agenda sock puppet was implying. -I- wrote it, and at the time I wrote it I was completely unaware of any litigation that had been filed. You might want to check out The Write Agenda site. It’s a hate site, and nothing else, set up by people with an axe to grind against Writer Beware . . “. If these people are who we think they are, allying yourself with them would not redound to your credit in the courts, since they’re already in considerable trouble with the authorities.(Emphasis added.)

Firstly, The Write Agenda never implied that Mr. Mathew wrote The Price of Freedom. We did bring the concerns of Mr. Mathew’s to the attention of our followers and readers. Secondly, we never contended that Ann “A.C.” Crispin didn’t write Pirates Of The Caribbean: Price Of Freedom. We did raise the issue and are questioning whether there is any validity to Mr. Mathew’s claims that Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s involvement in the book deal for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Price Of Freedom, may both be perpetuating and assisting Disney with the theft and exploitation of Royce Mathew’s creative works. These are fair and reasonable questions to be asking considering Mr. Mathew’s claims. Moreover, it is in the public’s interest to know regardless of whether Disney or Mr. Mathew is correct. In spite of Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s admonishment regarding The Write Agenda, Mr. Mathew ignored her warnings and gave Ann “A.C.” Crispin a few himself:

Ann C. Crispin I am an independent artist, with credentials who is actively fighting for accountability over the theft of my creative work.., [sic] and I have never claimed I wrote the book The Price of Freedom. Yet that book was built off of my creative property that includes my supernatural pirate story, characters and fictional inventions. If you read my statement/letter/posting – it states that the facts prove that the Walt Disney Company has engaged in criminal acts that involve them stealing my creative work including my original story, characters, and fictional inventions for their Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise (starting with the first movie The Curse of the Black Pearl). Photo proof of this is on my website  www.disneylawsuit.com which has been filed with government agencies and with the court(s). Then after my creative work was illegally branded as a Disney creative property, it was then given to you, which you were evidently hired, to take my characters and fictional inventions (such as the eccentric pirate and the pirate ship the Black Pearl) and to create a back story for them. Thus the Walt Disney Company has been bringing other people into their company circle with which to help them to further profit and exploit my creative property. Either knowingly or unknowingly, yours, as well as Johnny Depp, and others, have been all perpetuating and assisting Disney with the theft and exploitation of my creative work. May I point out that my fight for accountability and righteousness is all over the internet – and I will continue to lawfully seek justice and accountability in regards to the theft and exploitation of my creative work, as well as against the Walt Disney Company’s corrupt and criminal legacy of Michael Eisner, that still continues with Robert Iger and Michael Eisner. Here is a recent 2011 online interview with me (Royce Mathew) in regards to my career which involves Disney, Michael Eisner, Marty Sklar and more…http://www.bigdaddyhorrorreviews.com/201… In closing, you, as well as others, have a choice – which is to either ignore the documented facts as you (directly or indirectly) aided and continue to profit from Disney’s criminal actions – or you can do something positive about it. – I welcome all communications and interviews as this serious matter is far from over.(Emphasis added.)

Fellow weinerdog, Victoria Strauss, came to Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s aid but only to use the opportunity to throw a jab at The Write Agenda:

“Thanks for your comments, Royce. I too was unaware of your lawsuit before you contacted me (at my Writer Beware email address) two weeks ago. I’ll be interested to follow your progress. I have to echo Ann’s caution about being careful with whom you associate yourself. If you’re looking for allies, The Write Agenda is a dubious one to choose. Any overtures it may have made toward you are intended to further its own agenda–to discredit Ann and others who warn about scams in the book publishing world–not to help you with your cause.(Emphasis added.)

Again, avoiding Victoria Strauss’ attempt to discredit The Write Agenda, Mr. Mathew put the smack-down on Victoria Strauss as well:

My website disneylawsuit.com details many things including how Disney has engaged in additional corrupt acts with which to make it seem that my supernatural pirate story, characters and fictional inventions are part of their Pirates of the Caribbean ride attraction. For example my pirate ship is the Black Pearl, owned by the eccentric pirate, while the pirate ship in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride attraction (for over thirty years) is the Wicked Wench owned by a generic captain pirate. Yet Disney is instructing those hired by them to make it suddenly owned by an eccentric pirate, and that the Wicked Wench was later burned, sunk, raised and renamed the Black Pearl. Yes, I am naturally angry to see my creative work stolen (via Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio & condoned by Michael Eisner) exploited, used and credited to others. Meanwhile via Jason Surrell, Marty Sklar and others, Disney is doing various things with which to help them obscure the facts/truth behind the origins of the supernatural pirate story / characters / fictional inventions (which I own). Johnny Depp / his sister (his partner/manager) could have sent an assistant or attorney to review all of the documents but he didn’t. Instead he is profiting without showing any concern whatsoever. Meanwhile Ann Crispin and others are also profiting – and if they don’t know about it, then now they do. No doubt that Ann Crispin is an experience author – however, as I have stated – she as others, have a choice – which is to either ignore the documented facts as they (directly or indirectly) aided and continue to profit from Disney’s criminal actions – or they can do something positive about it and demand answers.(Emphasis added.)

We, The Write Agenda, applaud Royce Mathew for staying on topic, avoiding Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s and Victoria Strauss’ vile attempt to cloud the issues, and for forcing Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Victoria Strauss face the facts of his plight. Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Victoria Strauss both have a history of ignoring documented facts (Click here):

American Book Publishing “Investigation” Research Released: No Proof of Victoria Strauss’ Claims

What is most interesting is how defensive and caustic these weinerdogs become whenever you question a relative point that involves them. Ann “A.C.” Crispin called The Write Agenda a “hate site.” We’ve spent considerable time reviewing all of our postings and have yet to find one that could even remotely be construed as hate speech. Presumably, if you disagree or challenge Ann “A.C.” Crispin, and her fellow weinerdogs, including Victoria Strauss, it’s interpreted as hate speech. So, we challenge Ann “A.C.” Crispin to identify any of our postings that can prove her statement that The Write Agenda is in fact a “hate site.” We have challenged Ann “A.C.” Crispin and her fellow weinerdogs in the past . . .  they never reply; especially when they have been caught with their pants down. Bring it on Ann “A.C.” Crispin . . .  there’s always an open door here. Victoria Strauss has never replied to our requests to prove her claims against American Book Publishing . . . never!

Victoria Strauss stated that aligning one’s self with The Write Agenda is a “dubious” choice and only serves to further the agenda of The Write Agenda. In reply, we cannot think of two individuals that have used their positions to propagate more hate than Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Victoria Strauss. We would be remiss to fail to include other weinerdogs including James D. Macdonald and Teresa Nielsen Hayden in this mix of hateful people.  Their cultish sites are nothing more than recruiting and training grounds for dilettante authors, failing authors and “flying monkeys”  that are encouraged to proliferate their hate messages (Click here) via Google bombs (if you need examples, contact us).

Since we question the activities and reporting of the weinerdogs, Victoria Strauss wants to label us “dubious” or that we are “not to be relied upon.” Of all of the weinerdogs Victoria Strauss has proven herself to be the most “dubious” (i.e. not to be relied upon). For example, Victoria Strauss and her accomplice Ann “A.C.”Crispin have placed American Book Publishing on their (Writer Beware) “Thumbs Down” list and stated that American Book Publishing “has been the subject of “at least one police investigation.”  The Write Agenda, through “extensive documentation,” has in fact proven that this claim by Victoria Strauss is false (click here). For more information on Victoria Strauss and her possible motives against American Book Publishing, click here. Obviously, the reputation and integrity of Victoria Strauss’ reporting has been seriously called into question.

In conclusion, Victoria Strauss has remained silent regarding the findings and challenges to her credibility raised by The Write Agenda. Normally, most people and companies will respond quickly with a response when reputations are challenged. However, she has basically stuck her head in the sand hoping that our findings, i.e. that American Book Publishing was never the subject of a “police investigation,”  will simply pass.

Victoria Strauss will continue to be a blemish on the “watchdog” community until she can either: 1) admit or deny that  her actions against American Book Publishing were in retaliation to her attempt to get on the payroll of American Book Publishing; 2) admit or deny that these postings were the result of her following up on a threat to post a false report; and/or 3) admit or deny the veracity of the statements made against American Book Publishing. Until this can happen, Victoria Strauss will no longer be considered an effective “watchdog.” In fact, the lies and disingenuousness have reduced Victoria Strauss to a “weinerdog” that deserves a kennel at Anthony Weiner’s “House of Deceit.” It’s simple, the publishing community (authors, agents, publishers, etc.)  needs to rise up and force and compel Victoria Strauss to take responsibility for her claims against American Book Publishing.

This is your call to action. Write to Victoria. Write to her publishers. Write to the officers of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA). Post the link to this article on your websites and blogs. If Victoria Strauss continues to remain silent, she will leave 1000′s of authors speculating about her credibility as a “watchdog.” Victoria Strauss’ silence and selective use of research material leads a reasonable person to conclude that Victoria Strauss is a liar with a hidden agenda. As a result, she has damaged her own reputation.

The Write Agenda is a “hate site” and “dubious,” seriously? Ann “A.C.” Crispin, Victoria Strauss prove it. We will continue to question the weinerdogs (Ann “A.C.” Crispin, Victoria Strauss et. al.) until they have the ovarian (testicular) fortitude to come clean and admit their short comings to all of us. Most importantly, Ann “A.C.” Crispin and Victoria Strauss both need to admit that they have lied regarding their reporting that American Book Publishing was the subject of a police investigation.

Is Ann “A.C.” Crispin perpetuating and assisting Disney with the theft and exploitation of another’s creative work? Pirates Of The Caribbean: Price Of Freedom . . . Infringement?

According to Royce Mathew, Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s Pirates Of The Caribbean: Price Of Freedom may be infringing on his characters and fictional inventions (such as the eccentric pirate and the pirate ship the Black Pearl) to create a back story for them.

Royce Mathew has sued Disney twice and continues to wait for his day in court. He continues to speak at conventions/college is currently in the process of creating a documentary.

Royce Mathew asserts that Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s involvement in the book deal for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Price Of Freedom, Ann “A.C.” Crispin’s may both be perpetuating and assisting Disney with the theft and exploitation of his creative works. Royce Mathew’s website has documents and photo proof of his fight for accountability.

We will have more on this as things develop. See Royce Mathew’s “Pirates Artist vs. Disney” website at http://www.disneylawsuit.com
